§ 111.01. Definitions.

  • For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

    Amusement center means any place of business that principally offers entertainment or amusement through the use of electronic games, video games, mechanical games, pay devices, bingo or card tables, and similar amusements and entertainment for which a charge is made either directly or indirectly. A game room shall be deemed to be included within the definition of amusement center. By way of illustration and not limitation, examples of amusement centers are bingo parlors, pool rooms, arcades, bowling alleys, billiard halls, electronic video arcades and similar amusements.

    Game room means any place of business that principally operates mechanical games, electronic games, pay devices or tables for which charge is made either directly or indirectly.
