§ 91.80. Offensive lighting prohibited.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person on private, residential or commercial, property to install, aim, locate, direct, or maintain any permanent or portable outdoor lighting in such a manner as to present a hazard to drivers or pedestrians by impairing their ability to safely traverse, or so as to create a nuisance by projecting or reflecting objectionable light onto a neighboring property such that it interferes with the privacy of persons residing therein, bothers or affects the ability of persons residing therein to sleep, or interferes with or affects the ability of the persons residing therein to carry on normal household duties or actions.
