§ 30.04. Mayor pro tempore.

At the first meeting after its election, the Board of Commissioners shall select one of its number to act as Mayor Pro Tempore during his or her term of office, who shall, in case of sickness or absence of the Mayor, perform all the duties of the Mayor. He or she shall be compensated for his or her service as prescribed by the Board of Commissioners.
